Wabash College tennis players William Reifeis (Indianapolis, IN/North Central) and Patrick McAuley (Indianapolis, IN/North Central) have been selected as one of 16 doubles teams to compete at the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championships.

The championships take place at The Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, California. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps will serve as the host. The team championships take place May 21-23. The 32-player singles and the doubles team competition takes place May 24-26.

Reifeis and McAuley will head to California with a record of 24-1 at number one doubles for the Little Giants this season. The duo is currently ranked second in the Central Region in both the NCAA and Intercollegiate Tennis Association regional rankings. The pair have been playing together as a doubles team since 2010 in summer tournaments before winning the 2014 Indiana High School Athletic Association state championship playing at North Central High School. Reifeis and McAuley will be the first Wabash players to compete at the NCAA National Championship Tournament since 1976 when Dave Brooks, Keith Kehlbeck, Mark Miles, and Mike Keele competed at Millsaps College.

"I am so proud of Will and Patrick," Wabash head tennis coach Jason Hutchison said. "It is great to see all of the hard work they have put in over the years is paying off. This is a very special honor both them and the Wabash tennis program. They are confident heading out to the tournament and believe they can win it all."
