Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our priority has been promoting the safety of our community while providing our student-athletes and coaches the opportunity to practice and compete.
We want to continue to welcome families and others as spectators — we know that's important to both families and our students. We are asking three things of those who attend events in person: 1) Everyone must be vaccinated; 2) Everyone must wear a mask at all times (high-quality masks are preferred — e.g., N95, KN95, or KF94); and 3) No drinking or eating in the arena.
Spectators attending indoor competition in the Neal Fieldhouse (volleyball) and in the Indoor Tennis and Track Center (tennis) will be required to wear a mask regardless of COVID vaccination status.
Games will be open to members of the college testing protocol and family members of participants who can provide proof of vaccination. Masks will still be required at all times while indoors on campus. Due to the increasing COVID transmission rates, spectators will not be permitted at home games until further notice.
Hiram College will not permit any spectators at home, indoor athletic events until further notice. All Terrier home games will continue to be live-streamed and will be available on-demand on the Hiram College Network at team1sports.com/hiram.
All campus visitors must be informed about COVID-specific guidelines and policies, including the universal masking guidelines, effective Sept. 15. Everyone, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask when in the presence of others indoors. Visitors are expected to follow that guidance like any other member of the Kenyon community. Students and employees hosting personal or professional visitors should inform their guests about appropriate behavior as soon as they arrive on campus.
All event spaces will have reduced occupant capacities (85% of maximum), in order to ensure that those who want or need to remain socially distant are able to do so. Students and employees scheduling events should be cognizant of these reduced room capacities when planning their events. All events that involve people coming from off-campus, whether as speaker/performer or audience member, must be designated on the master events calendar.
At indoor athletics venues, food is not allowed and there will be no concessions available.
Visitors are welcome to campus but must be masked when indoors. Oberlin strongly encourages that all visitors be vaccinated.

The following guidelines are in effect for home indoor athletic events until further notice:
- No one will be granted admission to an indoor athletics event without a mask.
- Masks must be worn properly at all times.
- NON-COMPLIANCE MAY RESULT IN SPECTATORS BEING ASKED TO LEAVE THE VENUE.
- All spectators must leave the venue immediately after the conclusion of the event.
