    Of the 577 female student-athletes nominated for the 2022 NCAA Woman of the Year Award, two recent graduates from NCAC schools have been selected as conference nominees for the prestigious award, Hiram’s Giselle Bahena and Kenyon’s Emmie Mirus.

    The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) has named 65 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) swimmers & divers among its 2021-22 Scholar All-America honorees. Of the 65 student-athletes, 42 were named to the first team, while 23 garnered second-team honors.

    Denison won eight league titles in women's soccer, volleyball, men's swimming & diving, baseball, women's golf, men's lacrosse, men's tennis and women's tennis and posted 14 additional top-five finishes during the 2021-22 academic year to win its league-leading 18th North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports Championship.
  • Four Named NCAA Winter Postgraduate Award Winners

    Four North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) winter student-athletes were named recipients of the prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. Kenyon highlighted the list with two recipients, men’s swimming and diving senior Marcus Hong (Westlake, OH/ St. Ignatius) and women’s swimming and diving senior Emmie Mirus (Madison, WI/West). Denison men’s swimming and diving senior Liam Picozzi (Ballston Spa, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) and DePauw women’s track and field senior Erin Pasch (Indianapolis, Ind./Lutheran) also received NCAA postgraduate scholarships.

    Eight North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) institutions appeared in the winter update of the 2021-22 Division III Learfield Directors’ Cup standings. Kenyon led the NCAC with 225 points, ranking 49th among 270 institutions receiving points.
  • Ladies Win 24th National Title, Denison Men & Women Take Third

    The Kenyon women won their 24th national title in program history, first since 2009, after the Ladies accumulated 446 points over the course of the four days of action at the 2022 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis, Indiana. The 24 national titles tops all women's programs, in any sport and any division of the NCAA.

  • Nine NCAC Divers Selected for NCAA Regionals

    The NCAA has announced the list of participants for the 2022 NCAA Division III Diving Regional events, with nine student-athletes from the North Coast Athletic Conference qualifying to compete in one of the four regional competitions across the country. Divers from Denison, Kenyon and Wittenberg will be competing at the Region I event, February 25-26, at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI.
  • 2021-22 NCAC Swimming & Diving Coaches of the Year

    Kenyon’s Ron Kontura and Wittenberg’s Patrice Hickey have been named Men's and Women's Diving Coaches of the Year, while Wabash’s Will Bernhardt and Wooster’s Rob Harrington have been named Men's and Women's Swimming Coaches of the Year to close out the 2022 NCAC Championships. Both sets of awards were announced today after voting by the conference's head coaches.
